Customer Review: This video was created from a series of rehearsals for the last concert that MJ was planning to do in London for 1 year (~50 concerts).
I can summarize this as simply AMAZING! I would have loved to be in his concert. What a genius MJ was.
I loved every moment of that video. It is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Customer Review: A hardcore Styx fan would want more. However, this CD is perfect for someone who, while not a huge fan of the band, liked to hear their hit songs on the radio. All of the ones that you remember are here. "Come Sail Away", "Babe", "The Best Of Times" and more. Highly recommended.

Customer Review: i love prince and his music. he is such a unique and talented person. he's one of a kind. i like the fact that he plays his own instruments, writes, and produces his own songs. he mixes funk, soul, and rock all together and make it work and make it into his own kind of style. that's why i love the 80s..there was more originality during that type. people were barely copying each other. not many people i know around me can appreciate his music. i asked them if they did like him or his music..i get "hell no" or "not my cup of tea". it takes one open minded, intellect to fully appreciate and understand his music. i think this cd would be a great start of people who are just casual fans or new fa...

Customer Review: A great album by any measure, fantastic melody, hooks and changes. John was back on guitar and showing why he never should have left. HOWEVER... This is one of the worst examples of mastering of an album you will ever hear. Some moron at the label decided that it should be an ultra loud mastering with plenty of compression. If I want a CD to sound louder, you know what, I'll just turn the volume up on my stereo and bingo! it's now louder. I was early 20's when this was released with a cheap stereo and I never really noticed how bad the mastering was. Now I'm 30+ with decent hifi gear and the sound of this album just makes you want to put both barrels in front of your face, it is sooooo disto...

Customer Review: I hated this album so much the first time I listened to it that I thought about returning it. However, my admiration for OK COMPUTER inspired me to give it another shot. Like a lot of great works of art, KID A is challenging, but those who put the effort into understanding and appreciating it are richly rewarded. On this album, Radiohead really pushes themselves and popular music to new limits. This is not a rocker and features nothing likely to appeal to the masses. While excellent in themselves, the songs are truly parts of a larger work, and KID A should be listened to as a single piece. The formal and textural experimentation is truly original, and stops this slow and meditative music fr...

Customer Review: Dr. Sacks does a great job at helping us understand how our brain reacts to music. He identifies how important music is to all of us, though each of us interprets it differently. Intelligent reading!

Customer Review: I was a real Barbara Walters fan. I picked up the audiobook in preparation for a long trip out to Houston - figured it would be interesting to hear about her interviews and interesting encounters. However, it was definitely more like an autobiography - and to be honest, it was a little too much hearing it being read by her personally. The way she emphasized the words -- it came off as "look how lucky I am, look what a great life I have, look what I can do - I can have it all." She likely would have never meant this - but it just all sounded very pollyanna. Her father had an outstanding warrant for his arrest due to tax evasion and totally blowing off court appearances and couldn't make ...

by Friedrich Nietzsche
Amazon Price: $9.60
Customer Review: This is simple a great piece of scholarship. Kaufmann's translation are livid with Nietzsche's emotional character, and supplemented by extensive footnotes on the context of the work (especially helpful with the Case of Wagner). Each work is also given a very interesting introduction, mostly biographical. I happily recommend this to anyone interested in reading these works. Also, it should be noted that Kaufmann translates several pages of correspondence at the end of the two essays.
