Customer Review: The book is sturdy and looks like it will pass the test of time. It is too early to evaluate how useful the book will be in keeping all school memories contained withing the pages allotted.
However, it looks adequate.

Customer Review: I looked high and low for a School Days keepsake for both of my girls. This one seemed to be the best option available. It goes from K through 12, has pockets for storing papers, and lots of spaces for filling in the desired information. One drawback is that the papers need to fit into a 5X7 pocket, so may need to be folded. I also wish it contained a Preschool page. Other than that, I like it.

Customer Review: This is the most wonderful baby book out there. It is so personal and it allows the daughter to understand her mother so well. Many times as mothers it is easier to express feelings (other than hugs and kisses and I love yous) to our children by writing it down. I just never wanted any of my daughters to ever wonder exactly how I felt about all of them so I bought a book for all three girls. This book has it all and leaves nothing for the daughter to question about the mother's love for her.

Customer Review: I have little time for taking up scrapbooking - it's enough to collect content and make sure it gets into a book. I found exactly what I was looking for with this book. I wanted a scrapbook that I didn't have to put together. This has great illustrations and color, with "fill in the blank" content that has the feel of a beautiful scrapbook without all the work. The content is all very age-appropriate and really touches on appropriate milestones for that year in school, and my daughter loves writing the content herself and being involved in the process. It's actually a 3-ring binder, so additional content can be added, as well.
My only regret is that the section for a class photo...

Customer Review: As a professional wildlife photographer I have used Photoshop in one of its versions for 13 years. I have purchased 2 or 3 books over the years to improve my skill. Usually I do not have the time required to plow through all the material to find the bits and pieces I need to strengthen my technique. Mark Fitzgerald's new Adobe Photoshop CS5 Restoration and Retouching for Digital Photographers Only is the easiest, most reader friendly book I've read. After just the first evening I learned several tips that made an immediate improvement in photo processing technique. It's easy to find the information needed and quick to read a specific section. Tips for the experienced are highlighted in ...

Customer Review: As a professional fiber artist creating both 2 and 3d work I have been struggling for years to find a good resource to help me not only understand how my digital camera works but how to use it to take high quality pictures that I know it has the ability to. This book is a fantastic guide to taking photos of of artwork created in any medium whether it be jewelry, sculpture, wall art, fiber, glass or wood.
The book opens with a nice easy to read and understand overview of digital photography. Types of lenses and cameras are followed by an explanation of image types, aspect ratio's, focusing systems, white balance and more. The chapter on light and the digital studio covers ev...

Customer Review: I love this book because it speaks on laymens terms and allows you to actually do each task as its explained in the book. A book with the program isn't user friendly. Thank you for publishing this book for "dummies". Dummy I am not, but it sure simply explains all the things that this program can do. Love it!!
